It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to one of our team members here at CrimeSonics... Our first drone humbly named, “Emmy 1.”
A few nights ago while flying, she started acting quite erratic... Drifting, disconnecting, reconnecting, the gimbal started pitching wildly and she simply became uncontrollable... After a final disconnect, she at full speed crashed on a 6 story apt building in Chinatown...
Emmy 1 flew over 1,400,000 feet, 128 flights, 3 PSAs, several marketing videos, nearly a full 24 hours in the sky, and now she will be laid to rest in our editing bay on a nearby shelf... This little drone helped CrimeSonics achieve our Emmy Award for Director of Photography and we will always be grateful for her service...
