CrimeSonics — Composer Submissions

Hey there! We receive a tremendous amount of interest from composers wanting to write for CrimeSonics, so here’s everything you need to know before submitting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Visit our YouTube channel and study our Cyber Crime, Forensic Science, Crime Scenes, Killers (modern horror/trailer) and Percussive Pursuits (percussion and sirens only) volume series.
  • We’re also actively looking for eerie, atmospheric compositions.
  • Tracks should generally be 1:45–2:00 in length.
  • We especially value multi-instrumentalists and composers with access to real players.
  • Your first two submissions are important—they give us a strong sense of whether you’re a fit for the catalog.

Before submitting: CrimeSonics is an exclusive library. Submit only free-and-clear original music that is not licensed or represented elsewhere. No double dipping or retitling. Our standard agreement is a 50/50 publishing split: you retain your writer’s share and CrimeSonics retains the publisher’s share. Accepted tracks are represented exclusively and in perpetuity, so please understand the long-term commitment before submitting.

You’re submitting alongside Emmy® and GRAMMY® winners and some truly exceptional composers, and we want the next great writers to become part of that roster.

We’ll begin reviewing tracks over the next 2–3 weeks, but plan to let the submission portal fill through October 1, so feel free to submit now.
